Unemployment Rate Down in 32 States
Unemployment rates dropped in 32 states and the District of Columbia in October, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Rates increased in three states and Puerto Rico, and remained unchanged in 15 states.The national unemployment rate declined to 5% in October, the lowest it has been since April 2008. Arizona’s unemployment rate is 6.1%; Pima County 5.7%.
