Salary Increases Expected to Rebound in 2014
Research from Aon Hewitt indicates that salary increases for U.S. workers in 2014 will reach their highest levels in six years, although average increases are still projected to remain modest. An increasing number of companies use broad-based variable pay programs, or performance-based awards that must be re-earned each year as a way to reward top performing workers and this has increased from 78% of companies a decade ago to 90% of companies currently.
