Handi-Dogs
Handi-Dogs is a 501(c)(3). Handi-Dogs is dedicated to helping older adults and people with disabilities gain independence and improve their quality of life through specialized training of dogs and to advocate about the important role of service dogs.
Handi-Dogs, Inc., is one of the oldest assistance dog training programs in the country. It was founded by Alamo Reaves in 1973 to teach people with disabilities how to train their own dogs to be their assistance dogs. The organization was incorporated in 1977.
