ACA Employer Mandate Delayed
The Obama administration announced this past Tuesday, 7/2/13, the delay of the employer mandate under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act until 2015. The one-year delay is designed to meet two goals: first, it will provide time to simplify the new reporting requirements; secondly, it will provide time to adapt health coverage and reporting systems while employes move toward adjusting health coverage to be compliant.
