Cindy Dhuey – Partner
Cindy hails from Sun Prairie, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a B.S. in Education. She and her husband, Joe, moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1984 before settling in Tucson in 1987. Cindy went to work for a brokerage firm where her responsibilities included interviewing, hiring, training and supervising the support staff – a perfect entree into the employment industry.
Cindy’s responsibilities include the overall internal operations and management of the financial actions of the Temp Connection. Cindy is the past President of Key Group, one of the top networking organizations for women executives and is now their current Secretary. Cindy also is a member of Crew Tucson, a non-profit dedicated to advancing the success and development of women in commercial real estate.
Cindy and her husband, Joe, keep busy with their two cute daughters and their family activities. Both daughters have graduated from high school and now are looking at the many different options available to them. Maybe they would like to have a temporary job before settling into school and other work.
The family is very active with such activities as boating, water and snow skiing, and traveling to San Carlos to enjoy their place on the beach.

Ellie Patterson – Partner
Ellie has been in the staffing industry for thirty-one years in capacities ranging from sales representative to branch manager to co-owner. With her reputation and solid knowledge of the industry, she has managed major staffing programs for multiple companies. She earned her graduate degree in counseling from Eastern Washington University completing her thesis work on Women In The Workplace which applies so appropriately to her profession. Her undergraduate degree was completed at the U. of Washington but she prefers the Wildcats to the Huskies. Ellie brings both a theoretical focus and practical experience to each business setting. Ellie is responsible for sales and business development for the Temp Connection.
Ellie was on the Board of the Fox Tucson Theatre Foundation and served several years as President. She also served on the WIB (Workforce Investment Board), is a founding member of WPO (Women Presidents’Organization), Past President of the businesswomen’s networking organization, TIEMPO, and was Moderator of Women Impacting Tucson for several years. Ellie enjoys her weekly networking group, Old Pueblo Business Alliance. This past year Ellie served as President of The Rotary Club of Tucson, the largest Rotary Club in Arizona. Ellie especially enjoys the work that Rotary does for the eradication of polio and supports the work every year by participating in The Rotary Ride to End Polio in conjunction with El Tour de Tucson. When not on her bike, Ellie also enjoys other outdoor activities such as snow skiing and hiking. At home you can find her gardening, reading and spending time with her husband, Tom. They enjoy their 6 grandkids ranging in age from 4 to 21.

Jennifer joined the Temp Connection team in 2007 as a Recruiter and Payroll Specialist and has currently been promoted to Assistant Operations Manager. Jennifer worked several years at the Fox Tucson Theatre in various executive capacities from Executive Assistant, Bookkeeper, to Operations and Assistant Theatre Manager. She brings a high level of efficiency and customer service to the Temp Connection. Jennifer and her husband, Phil, are settling into a new routine that comes with an expanded family. A new baby girl joyously arrived last year and celebrated her 1st birthday this past September. Their 3 year old son enjoys having a little sister. What fun!

Tina Hagen joined the Temp Connection team almost 10 years ago and is enjoying her position of Sr. Staffing Recruiter while continuing to be in the role of Document Controller. Her voice is often the first one you will hear when you call our office and she is readily available to assist with any questions a current employee or prospective employee may have as well as taking a client’s order. Tina’s office background reflects twenty years in education in the state of Washington serving as the attendance coordinator for a large and busy school district. Tina’s experience with students and teachers translates well to the staffing service industry and her friendly and helpful manner extends to all who come in contact with her. Tina loves her new scooter and rides every morning to work, weather permitting, of course!

Anne Sommers will soon celebrate her 12th year of employment with the Temp Connection this summer and holds both the positions of Client Relations Manager and Recruiter. Anne’s rapport with our employees as well as clients is second to none. Her ability to make people feel special is one of her many strengths. Anne and her husband, Mark, moved from Indiana many years ago and both are enjoying their careers here in Tucson as well as being able to spend time with their lovely daughter and her husband and grandson. Anne also enjoys her time with her two brothers and their families who live in the area. Anne currently serves as our SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) Representative and also is a member of the Greater Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Holly Feeney joined The Temp Connection in July 2016, bringing several years of experience in administration, human resources and sales/marketing. Holly attributes her ability to connect with people to her communication skills, caring candor and desire to establish a win-win solution. In her former position as a Human Resources Recruiter/Supervisor, Holly cultivated a strong team-oriented ethic. Her passion is to help people with their goals, supporting their mission to find the right fit in the workforce. In addition, Holly has served as a board member on the Essential Piece Staff Appreciation and Trauma Informed Care Committees at a well-known local non-profit organization. Holly values spending time with her husband, Troy, and family. Also, she enjoys writing and became a published Author in 2015.

Elliana Vaughn joined The Temp Connection team in February 2017, bringing her skill set in administration and sales/marketing—along with professionalism for the position of Sr. Office Assistant. Elliana has a natural ability to build rapport and her pleasant demeanor is a welcome smile to phone recipients – and to anyone that comes through the doors of The Temp Connection. She is dedicated to promoting The Temp Connection brand of service with excellence and devotes her time as an advocate in volunteer work for organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and Women Encouraging Women. In addition to her volunteer work, Elliana is attending the University of Arizona, successfully combining a balance between working and advancing her education.
