AZ jobless rate continues to drop
The unemployment rate for AZ is 5.2%, the lowest it has been since June 2008. Pima County’s unemployment rate is 4.8%, down from 5.4% a year ago. This is a trend we like to see yet it can be challenging in finding the talented workforce needed for the current openings that many companies have right now. As the job market tightens, employees have more leverage and increased options. Wages usually climb higher with this kind of job market.
