Arizona Minimum Wage now $7.90/hr.
Minimum wage increases went into effect on January 1, 2014 in California, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island and some other states. There are 10 states (Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, Vermont and Washington) that have minimum wages that are linked to a consumer price index. Nevada adjusts the minimum wage in July and no change was made this year. The federal minimum wage is $7.25 per hour. The last increase was in 2009. If an employee is subject to both the state and federal minimum wage laws, the employee is entitled to the higher of the two minimum wages. (as reported by Alison Doyle-about.com)
