How do we do it?
We thoroughly screen all our employees:
- Candidates for administrative and executive assistant positions are tested for communication skills, including the ability to compose correspondence, speed and accuracy and their familiarity with state-of-the-art software.
- Word processing and data entry employees are tested for knowledge, proficiency and accuracy on common business software programs. We verify skills by using professional industry computer programs that measure proficiency as well as the time taken to complete the test and accuracy.
- Clerical employees are tested for spelling, filing ability, name and number comparison, vocabulary and proofreading capabilities.
- Accounting and bookkeeping candidates are tested for their overall knowledge of accounting principles as well as being assessed in specific areas, depending on the type and level of staffing need. The testing can range from controllers to payroll clerks with appropriate assessments administered.
Of course all potential employees are interviewed in a friendly but thorough manner whether they’re seeking a business management position, a reception opportunity, or a career in the information technology field. The interview helps us determine attitudes, preferences, background experience and other intangibles that assist us in making a match for both the employee and the client.
