Legal Secretary
The qualified candidate answers the phone (3 incoming lines), does general correspondence (strong Word) and other administrative work. A big part of this position entails contacting health care providers to request records and other information that the lawyers need. Technical Writer-$20-30/hr.
This position will involve writing, editing, formatting, and maintaining client-facing user documentation for the healthcare-related client applications. Must be familiar with Microsoft Manual of Style.
Responsibilities extend to:
· Researches and gathers information required to document software
· Determines requirements and content for the user documentation.
· Conducts edits of other writer’s work.
· Tracks project progress against product development schedule to ensure deliverable deadlines are met. Tracks
· Works closely with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy of documentation.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in English, Communication, Technical Writing or equivalent experience with an emphasis in technical writing/technical communication.
· 1-3 years experience in the technical communication field
· Understands and can translate technical information into written form.
· Ability to quickly and easily assimilate new product knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with automated publishing tools
· Experience in the technical communication field, preferably within the computer software industry.
Pay 20-30/hr.
